Founding History and Mission
Resources for English Academic Learning (R.E.A.L. English) was founded by Feng-Yi, master writer, language strategist and female entrepreneur who set out to build meaningful bridges between the public and private education sectors in Singapore. Having witnessed the profoundly detrimental impacts of excessive private tutoring, Feng-Yi established R.E.A.L. English and launched the bestselling Illuminated series, with the goal of making excellent English resources accessible to teenagers regardless of their financial backgrounds.
Today, R.E.A.L. English’s texts are used in classrooms and homes, well-loved by teachers, students and parents alike.
